2024 Bemidji Area Take a Kid Fishing Event will be held on June 5
Bemidji Area Take A Kid Fishing event will be held on June 5th 2024. Meet the guides at 10:00 a.m. at Cameron Park. After fishing we will finish out the day with a fish fry at 5:00pm at Lake Bemidji State Park.

Past Bemidji Area Take A Kid Fishing events have been covered by local print and radio media, the Bemidji Area Take A Kid Fishing event has been featured in regional television shows such as: Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen, Out and About with Ralph Jon Fritz, and Tony Dean Outdoors. National Geographic Magazine has featured the event as well.
We are very proud of our program and truly believe that it is the highest quality of its kind. Organizations from other communities, as far away as Indiana, have recently developed similar fishing programs for kids, after consulting with our committee.
