The Take A Kid Fishing Mission:
To introduce young people to the outdoors through fishing in a safe, fun, educational and mentored atmosphere. Providing the resources and opportunities so that area youth and families may experience firsthand and realize the healthy, fun and rewarding sport of fishing.

Other Fishing Related Projects
Dock Repair and Donating Refurbished Rods & Reels
When proceeds allow, we like to take on fishing-related projects in the area that will create the opportunity to fish and/or enhance the experience. This year we are volunteering our time, efforts, and funds to repair some desperate docks in the area as well as supply many groups and organizations with gently used and refurbished rods and reels.

Kids Fishing Pond
There is now a Kids Fishing Pond located just east of the Sanford Center complete with docks. This sign was generously donated in loving memory.
